About Me.

With an eye toward shooting student athletes, I bring a history of action and artistry to create an image with a lasting impact.

The aviation industry is what keeps bread on the table for me. Photography would be considered a side hustle. When I’m working on a project, I thoroughly enjoy the process from start to finish . I am an introvert by nature, but when I’m working with someone for a photo project I feel completely at ease talking and interacting. It’s not “hiding behind the camera” that brings me out of my shell. It’s having purpose and intent to create something that allows me interact with anyone with ease.

About 10 years ago I picked up a “toy” Diana camera. It’s a cheaply made medium format film camera. It is spontaneous and fun and there are rules you must follow to shoot it. The rules consist of

1. Always have it with you.

2. Always shoot from the hip. (literally and figuratively)

3. Catch people by surprise.

4. Have fun.

Since then, I have branched on to more advanced stuff. I still maintain the top 4 rules still apply. Maybe not the “shooting from the hip” part.

For the past couple years one could find me on the sidelines shooting various High School sporting events. Tons of fun and no better way to get razor sharp with your equipment.
